Ricardo Santana

Ricardo Santana is immediate past president of the Chefs de Cuisine Association and currently serves as chairman of the board and a liaison between the Association and the Education Foundation.  

This award-winning chef arrived in San Diego in 2011, after beginning his culinary career in Ontario, California and after 20 years as an Executive Chef for Impressions Gourmet Catering in Ontario.  

He transitioned to the culinary team at O’hana Catering in San Diego, where he later became the Executive Chef. He is currently Executive Chef at California’s Best Catering. 

He served two terms as Vice President of the Chefs de Cuisine Association of San Diego and was then elected to two consecutive terms as the President. 

He has been awarded American Culinary Federation Chef of the Year honors by different local chapters three times in his career. He is a formidable presence within the local charitable community and his compassion for helping others his hallmark.
